South Holland Fire Department Christmas Party 2011
The South Holland Fire Department Christmas Party 2011 kicked off to a festive start as guests walked into Glenwood Oaks amid red and green uplighting.
The fire chief Don Ben introduced honored guests then the fire chaplain said grace after a moment of silence for a recently fallen firefighter.
On the dinner menu at Glenwood Oaks was chicken, filet, prime rib, or lobster tail (for an extra fee). The Christmas themed uplighting served as a perfect backdrop to the delicious dinner.
Awards were given out to their respective winners with “Tommy Alphabet” winning the distinguished service award.
The night concluded with the disc jockey dancing and singing along to songs. One special request of the night was Adam Sandler’s “Chanuka” or “Hanukka” Song. Everyone laughed or sang along tho this new Christmas classic.
