Mia’s Quincenera at Lighthouse Restaurant, Cedar Lake, IN

Mia’s Quinceñera was a stylish and fun party fit for MTV. The event took place May 5th, Cinco de Mayo, in the upstairs banquet room at Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Guests enjoyed the delicious roasted chicken and mashed potatoes and saved room for dessert – a three-tiered cake decorated in hot pink and zebra stripes.

Mia’s love of hot pink and zebra stripes found its way into other elements of the party from the hot pink uplighting to the customized photo strips in the photo booth to a customized gobo with her name and age in zebra stripes.Mia's Gobo or Monogram at Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake

Mia, wearing a hot pink dress, shared a special dance with her grandfather to the “Blue Danube Waltz.”
Customized M & Ms featured Mia’s face and birthdate and inspired an end-of-the-night joke by Quinceñera DJ, Chris Florek, who thanked her parents for their countless hours spent using Sharpie markers on the tiny candies.

I can’t tell you how great Chris and 219 Productions were! Mia’s party was such a fun filled night thanks to all of their hard work a genuine care and attention to detail. Chris had everyone dancing all night with an awesome music selection. Those who weren’t on the dance floor were busy goofing off in the photo booth. Definitely memories of a great night we’ll have forever. I would absolutely recommend Chris and 219 Productions to everyone I know! Thanks again for everything! Carmen.

Mías quinceniera was a great time! I have to agree the dj did a great job keeping people on the dance floor! The photo booth was a hit!! The lighting was great, the venue was beautiful and the quinceniera herself is gorgeous!! Really the best quinceniera I’ve ever been to!
