Florek – Wallin Blue Dress Barn Wedding | Benton Harbor, Michigan | Photo Booth, Monogram
The Blue Dress Barn created a rustic and charming space for the Florek-Wallin wedding in Benton Harbor, Michigan with a live band, photo booth, and monograms above the hay loft doors.
From the moment guests drove up to the Blue Dress Barn they knew it was going to be a special occasion with the seasoned wood signs directing them to areas like scenic parking, ceremony area, fire pit, and more. The ceremony outside had a beautiful arch adorned with roses and two brick silos filled with ivy. Each program for the ceremony had its own unique card stock, burlap, and a card cover.
Once inside the Blue Dress Barn guests were greeted by the photo booth attendant and directed to a birdcage full of place cards and a table to write wishes to the bride and groom on a quilt square. Italian lights, paper lanterns, and a monogram above each of the doors illuminated the barn with a warm glow.
The monogram or gobo was a special request from the bride, who also had her veil custom embroidered with her monogram to symbolize the change of her name.
Kris Hitchcock and the band “Small Town Son” had the barn going wild for dancing. The violinist and guitarist also provided ceremony music during the wedding. Ben Pancoast of Ben Pancoast Photography and assistant Daniel Terpstra captured the pictures of the evening. The bride loved the photo booth with burlap drapery, which fit in perfectly with the country chic decor. I had a blast working with everyone (something I rarely get a chance to do) and the monograms looked spectacular on the textured doors of the barn.
