Fear Fest 2012 | IPO Purdue University Calumet | Halloween DJ
Fear fest 2012 was definitely one of the best Halloween dances ever at Purdue University Calumet that DJ Segal had the pleasure to perform and host many games.
Other than the games, the students knew how to create a memorable time. There was a group of students that had requested some music to break dance to and even brought other members of the crowd in to show off their dance moves. Another couple of students interrupted the costume contest with a skit similar to a WWE performance where “Stone Cold” Steve Austin showed up, put his hands on his opponent and finished non-violently to his theme song with “cause Stone Cold said so.”
Musical chairs had the students and kids scrambling for all kinds of items like spiders, skull balloons, pumpkins, and other Halloween items. Four teams competed in the mummy wrap with the audience cheering for the best mummy. Everyone had fun hula hooping and going under the limbo bar. The costume contest had 5 winners, 1 for best costume, 2 for cutest costume, and 2 for scariest costume.
Fear fest 2012 was a family friendly Halloween themed event with a kids corner, face painting and pumpkin carving along with finger foods. It was hosted by the International Programs office at Purdue University Calumet and DJ services were provided by 219 Productions.
