Shure Tour | Chicagoland American Disc Jockey Association and Illinois Videographers Association | Team Up
Shure Inc hosted and educated the Chicagoland American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and the Illinois Videographers Association (IVA) monthly meetings. Members of Shure took everyone on a tour, presented some new equipment, and had an open panel discussion.
ADJA and IVA members were given a grand tour of the facilities including the anchioch and rf chambers. They saw many testing areas and equipment along with learning about the history of Shure.
After the tour, members met in the auditorium for a presentation on Shure’s new shotgun condenser microphones, the new UR5 portable diversity receiver, and the UR3 plug on wireless microphone transmitter. Then an open forum took place with members of Shure, IVA, and ADJA coming together answering industry specific questions and cross industry questions, overall educating and helping the videographers and disc jockeys work better together.
Shure concluded the evening by raffling off a slx series wireless microphone system, a fp wireless bodypack system, and a UR5 portable diversity receiver with a UR3 plug on wireless microphone transmitter.
The night ended with some networking between the videographers and disc jockeys at Brick House Tavern + Tap.
