LARC Annual Appreciation Dinner 2013 | Villa Cesare | Uplighting
Friends of a Lansing not-for-profit organization came together Friday night at Villa Cesare to celebrate a year of accomplishments. LARC, which provides developmentally disabled adults with an opportunity to work, live and participate in their community, held its annual Appreciation Dinner and entertained a little under 300 guests with the evening’s program, uplighting, camaraderie, raffles and music.
As guests arrived they had a chance to enter a 7 day condo rental on the Gulf of Mexico with $500 in visa gift cards, buy 50/50 raffles tickets, and enter the pick a prize contest.
Silent auction and pick a prize items lined the walls of 1/3 of Villa Cesare. The premiere silent auction items were pin spotted in the middle of the silent auction and pick a prize items. The premiere silent auction items included a huge Webber grill package, pendants from Albert’s Jeweler’s, Chicago Cub’s tickets, Chicago White Sox Vs Chicago Cub’s tickets, and a trip to Chicago which included a one-night hotel stay, $100 gift card to Francesca’s, and 4 general admission tickets to the Shedd Aquarium.
The theme for the evening was “Our Tree of Life” accentuated by a green program booklet featuring a tree, beautiful green mood uplighting, and greenery on the tables. In addition to the annual advertising book with the tree of life on it, each guest received a pamphlet full of all the silent auction and pick a prize items. LARC clients and employees were honored for decades of service and members of the community were thanked for their contributions.
