The world almost wobbled off it’s axis from too much fun at Purdue University Calumet of Northwest Indiana as students danced their booties off listening to the DJ at the Worldwide Wobble Blacklight Dance Party.
New students were welcomed into dorm life by kicking off the weekend with an outdoor dance party on the huge concrete patio outside Griffin Hall. The party kicked off when students took to the floor to do the line dance, “The Wobble”.
Dancers were adorned with glow necklaces, glow bracelets, neon clothing and highlighter body art that gave a luminescent haze to the crowd.
Students “shook it” all night to multi-cultural dance music from around the world.
Glowing bubbles and lasers engulfed the dance floor while students used glowing hula-hoops, did “The Casper slide”, “The Dougie” and “Gangnam Style” while the DJ spun tracks live.
Local and international students alike finished the night out as a limbo line formed and students dropped it low to see who could make it all the way to the floor!
