The Lost Marsh wedding was non-stop with food, dancing , dj, and memorable moments from the ceremony outside on the terrace to the glow wands at the end of the night.

Late in the night as the dj had the dance floor pumping with some current tracks like “I Love It,” “Summertime Sadness,” and “Wake Me Up,”  the glow wands, glow sticks, and pizza came out to take the party to another level unseen at most weddings. Earlier a group of Munster girls almost broke through the floor jumping around dancing to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You’ve Been Gone.”

The speeches also had a few unforgettable moments in them. One was as the maid of honor was giving her toast, she saw Louie at a local drinking establishment, walked over to him, and whispered “Sega” in his ear because he had “Sonic the Hedgehog” hair. Louie also heard it from his best man when he stated “she’s really hot so don’t screw it up” referring to the bride during his toast.

After the skies cleared up, the terrace provided a breath-taking view as the setting for the wedding ceremony in which the bride’s sister played her violin. She also played violin for the cake cutting to the song “I won’t give up” by Jason Mraz. After the ceremony hors d’ oeuvres and the outdoor bar opened for cocktail hour as guests mingled and took in some fresh air.

Lost Marsh was made over with black table linens, black spandex chair covers, huge centerpieces, and more. A gigantic lighted picture frame for the seating chart was a fantastic idea.  Black wedding favors had the “evil eye” on them, a talisman given to those unaware that protects them from a gaze from an envious or magical eye that may bestow bad luck to a curse of death.
