Guests walked into the hall and immediately enjoyed some drinks, cheeses, meats, and fruits during cocktail hour. A photobooth was there upon entering, ready and waiting to capture memories of the night. Guests could take photos using props, like silly hats and funny glasses or they could use the hand made props provided by family, chalk board bubbles on a stick, cute ties, mustaches and hats. The photo strip was designed to have four color photos while the background matched the gray and yellow theme of the night.

After taking photos in the booth, guests were seated where they listened to cocktail music and waited for the grand entrance. The wedding party walked in as Nate and DeeAnna followed suit smiling proudly. As they were announced, guests rose to greet them while uplighting strobed in an club-like fashion. Nate and DeeAnna cut their three tier white and gray striped cake, decorated in yellow calla lilies. The same calla lilies dotted the centerpieces throughout the hall, sunken elegantly in water with a floating candle on top. Mr. Kent Hess lead a prayer to bless the food and guests indulged in a plated feast of salads, chicken piccata, prime rib, California vegetable medley, and vesuvio potatoes.

Nate and DeeAnna danced their first dance in front of friends and family, while a spot light followed them, adding to the magic of the night while teal uplighting washed the room in romantic hues. The parents dances followed quickly after in the spot lights.

The dance floor was jumping as the DJ mixed live hits of the day and past favorites while a custom light show was going on. The garter and bouquet toss were a sight to see being tossed simultaneously, as attendees crammed the dance floor. Dance offs escalated quickly and a huge ring covered the dance floor, where a remix of the Disney song “let it go” from the movie Frozen threw the crowd into a singing frenzy. Later, friends got together for a #selfie #dnhesswedding. The night ended with Nate and DeeAnna posing in the photobooth with friends and family, while stealing kisses from one another.
