Greg and Mary tied the knot and celebrated at White Hawk Country Club in Crown Point, Indiana, with friends and family. The day was full of laughter, dancing, food, drinks and happiness as a photo booth along with a great DJ entertained all night.
The day started off with an elegant and touching ceremony in the outdoor gazebo of White Hawk. Friends and family watched as Greg and Mary exchanged inspiring vows. Mary vowed to share Greg’s love of The Green Bay Packers and to drop her Bears for life.
After the ceremony, the reception started off with delicious cheeses and fruits while guests enjoyed cocktails as the wedding party got ready for the grand entrance. A photobooth sat ready while guests jumped in and out of the finger food line. Strips were a simple black with three pictures and the couple’s wedding monogram. The grand entrance happened as Greg and Mary came in holding hands tightly, spotlighted by the DJ.
The cake was cut while the DJ highlighted the newlyweds. Toasts were given by the best man and the maid of honor and an impromptu sing-along of “Bear Down Chicago Bears” broke out from the men at the head table.
Dinner was a plated fare of salad, pork, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The hall was decorated in red lighting and the DJ projected a custom monogram on the wall near the dance floor. Black and red covered everything, from tables to dresses, lighting to photo strips.
After dinner the first dance was done, as well as father-daughter and mother-son dances. The garter was taken off (naturally a Packers logo lace number), and Greg threw a Packers football to the single men of the crowd. Mary tossed her bouquet to the ladies who hungrily grabbed for it. An anniversary dance took place, with the winning couple telling everyone their best advice for married life. The DJ opened up the dance floor and guests took no time to get “down”. Guests “got low” with Lil John’s music so much, that some people were doing push ups and laying on the floor!
