Kate and Mike’s Wine Wedding | Willow Harbor Vineyard | Three Oaks, MI | Uplighting
Kate and Mike shared their love of wine and each other with friends and family at a Willow Harbor Vineyard in Three Oaks, Michigan. The day included wine inspired decor and dinning, as well as dancing. Uplighting added an elegant feel to the evening.
The ceremony was an outdoor celebration of true love, with white chairs and a welcoming sign to guests notifying them that “happily ever after starts here”. A wine barrel sat by the entrance to the walk down area, leading to a gazebo where Kate and Mike exchanged vows. “I take you as my best friend, faithful partner, and true love”, were the words they spoke to one another. After the ceremony was done, cute dove balloons were released as the couple smiled and walked into their new life.
Guests found their names on a horizontal cork at a table when they walked into the tent that doubled as a hall. At their seats was a wine stopper for the wedding favor in elegant chrome and glass.
Uplighting filled the tent with a purple hue, splashing wine colors all over the white walls. A Candy table enticed guests to indulge in some sweets like chocolate kisses, purple swirl lollipops, dove chocolates, laffy taffys, gummy bears, and rock candy on a stick.
Wine bottles, 3 vases with flower, and floating candles served as stunning centerpieces bringing the theme together. A table full of past weddings in the family filled the guests heart with joy and memories.
Later in the evening people enjoyed dancing with hula hoops, doing the YMCA (with funny props), and then dancing to “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy” while riding horses on sticks and cowboy hats. The maid of honor gave the bride and groom a gift of a travel log for them to journal their new life together while viewing the world.
