Brittany and Tom’s Wedding Surprises | Pentwater Barn | Uplighting

Brittany and Tom had many surprises at Pentwater Barn with a vintage wedding from the photobooth to the wedding favors, to the exquisite purple and teal uplighting.

Pentwater Barn Uplighting

During the shoe game we found out that Brittany and Tom had stilletos. Guests were shocked to this answer until it was explained that Stilleto is also a brand of hammers that Tom uses as a carpenter. Another shock was during Brittany’s first dance with her father to John Foggarty’s “Centerfield” as they prepared a baseball themed skit that led into a fun dance.

As guests arrived they were greeted with a monogram on the back wall of the barn, two photos above the gift table that had fifty reasons why Brittany and Tom love each other, and 2 levels of uplighting in turquoise, purple, and blue. Lace adorned the doorways and rustic touches like strung lights added elegance to the venue.

Other than taking home wedding favors, popcorn kernels in burlap sacks and sugar cookies, guests took  home a peacock themed photo strip from the photobooth. The prop table was set up vintage style with retro suit cases to hold the props and the photobooth backdrop was lace which matched the lace, burlap and ball jars around Pentwater Barn.

Tequila Restuarante, formerly Tequila Si, started the evening with guacamole and a fruit salsa on the salsa bar. For dinner there was a buffet of enchiladas, tostadas, flautas,  beans, and rice, the enchiladas being my personal favorite. A popcorn machine with assorted flavor shakers was an excellent addition to the dessert table full of Brittany and Tom’s favorite homemade desserts.
