Midwest DJs Live 7
April 12th and 13th we took the crew up to Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Crowne Plaza for Midwest DJs Live 7 for education, training, networking, and seeing new toys.
On the showroom floor, Blizzard Lighting along with Majic Productions brought out the newest in lighting fixtures, software, and hardware, Wedding Wire helped with any questions about membership, their website and services, the American Disc Jockey Association talked about membership, monthly meetings and benefits, NLFX Professional demonstrated some new hardware, educational DVDs, and their amazing wiring, and Photo Box Interactive demonstrated their photobooths capabilities, ease of use, and superb styling.
Seminars included Peter Merkle’s “10 DJ Tactics For When People Won’t Dance,” Alan Dodson’s “Putting Power into Your Speaking – Mastering Your Voice as an MC,” Scott “Smokin” Silz “I Will Survive – Thriving in a Diverse DJ Landscape” and more.
A “Meet and Greet Dinner,” “Sunday Night Bowling and DJ Party,” and “Networking Breakfast,”were a great way to chat with fellow wedding professionals while letting loose.
