Angelique and Andre’s Sparkly Purple Wedding |Wicker Park | Uplighting
Wicker Park was converted into an elegant and quite sparkly wedding reception. Angelique and Andre chose some breathtaking décor combinations with uplighting that had guests saying “it is the most beautiful wedding they have seen.”
Uplighting outside in the hallway guided guests into the reception where they took in a room full of sparkly décor and purple uplighting. The head table had silver broaches holding up cloths creating a cascading effect across the table accented by purple uplighting underneath.
A 3 tiered cake with different shades of purple, darkest on the bottom to white on the top in ruffle layers was cut just after the grand entrance. Chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate fortune cookies, happy bears, gumballs, grape twizzlers and more on the candy table were finished before the end of the reception.
A purple table runner was an underlay for silver napkins, a glittery table number, and a tall wine glass centerpiece that was surrounded by candles of various heights giving off a very elegant feeling. Each table was surrounded by chair with white covers and see through purple sashes. Silver sashes on the chairs set the head table apart.
Prior to the reception, Angelique and Andre tied the knot outside in front of the fountains with an alto saxophonist for all the guests to enjoy.
