Kelsi and Eddie’s Eat, Drink, and be Married Wedding |Uptown Center | DJ
Uptown Center was the host to Kelsi and Eddie’s wedding ceremony and reception as everyone ate, drank, and was merry. Family and friends had a blast with a full spread of desserts, photo booth, dj and more at the architecturally fascinating hall.
The ceremony started down a rose lined aisle way that led to the staircase in front of the stage. Eddie’s father officiated the short and sweet ceremony witnessed by their closest friends.
Cocktail hour took place in the bar and lobby as guests signed the huge letters that hung on the wall and “leafed” their fingerprints on the tree. They sipped the signature drinks, “Berry Much in Love” and “Groom’s Choice.” Grilled cheese bites accompanied by tomato soup and shrimp cocktail were a nice appetizer just before transitioning back into the hall for the reception.
A high energy grand entranced kicked off a night of dancing with the DJ to all types of music from freestyle, to rock, to the chicken dance. Family posted photos to the Wedpics gallery under the name “Kelsieddie.” They also grabbed some props and posed inside the photo booth to take home a photo strip.
Mom’s surprise toast was heard by all without the use of a microphone after the best man had people falling out of their seats with jokes from beginning to end. Beer cozies on the tables with “Eat, Drink, and be Married” on one side and Kelsi & Eddie on the other matched the mint and pink color scheme. If the family style beef tenderloin and rosemary chicken weren’t enough, the dessert table was full of turtle, blueberry, and cherry cheesecakes next to chocolate, carrot, and red velvet cupcakes among other bite sized offerings. Eddie got a custom plate of grilled cheese and waffle fries as the guest of honor.
