Joan and Dan’s So in Love Wedding | County Line Orchard | DJ
Joan and Dan will continue to share their non-Lake Michigan water as husband and wife after they tied the knot at County Line Orchard. The ceremony took place upstairs in the small barn and the reception in the south room of the big barn. Food, food, string and fair lighting, lanterns, food, DJ, burlap, uplighting, and more food made for a fulfilling evening.
Cookies, water and lemonade greeted guests just before heading upstairs in the small barn for the wedding ceremony that was standing room only. A burlap runner with monogram led up to a tree branch arch decorated with baby’s breath. One of Dan’s best friends and groomsmen officiated the ceremony making it very personal. A box of notes was collected from the wedding party to be revisited years down the road. The rings were passed and touched by all the loving family and friends making the marriage extra special.

With the rain holding off, guests made their way over to County Line Orchard’s south barn. Blue tables with burlap runners and centerpieces of tall vases or lanterns with fairy lights were surrounded by dark wood chiavari chairs. Blue uplighting around the barn brought color to all the wood. Guests signed a painted pallet in-lieu of a guest book as they walked by the memory table and pictures of Joan and Dan throughout their years together.
Cookies before the ceremony were just a hint of all the food throughout the wedding reception. On the menu for dinner was Chicken breast stuffed with cornbread stuffing, grilled bone-in pork chops with apple compote, cornbread stuffing, and yukon gold mashed potatoes with garlic. The dessert table included cake pops, chocolate covered rice crispy treats, chocolate covered pretzels, County Line Orchards apple spiced donuts, chocolate covered strawberries and more. The big barn door opened after the DJ opened the dance floor, the fire pit was lit up for Ghiradelli chocolates to go with Hershey’s, graham crackers, and giant roaster marshmallows. If all that wasn’t enough, Pizza Hut stopped by and dropped off some pizzas for another late night snack.
